Love Thy Neighbor was featured in the prestigious Kodak Emerging Filmmaker Showcase in the Cannes Film Market at the Cannes Film Festival in May. Only students who have won a qualifying award such as a Student Academy Award, a Student Emmy, or in this case, a Grand Prize from the Directors Guild of America, are eligible to be invited into Kodak's Showcase.
Love Thy Neighbor was also one of 7 films selected by Dean Bob Bassett to be in the first Chapman Showcase in the Cannes Film Market, to represent the quality of filmmaking at our school.
In addition to winning the Grand Prize from the DGA in Fall 2004, Love Thy Neighbor also won a Platinum award from WorldFest Houston International Film Festival and the Audience Choice Award from the San Diego Girl Film Festival in 2005.
